Century Tuna Super bods run (Post Race)

Had a late start because when I arrived at the venue the run for 10K has just started. It started 15 minutes earlier than the scheduled time. I Immediately checked in my bag and get my racing gear (cap, shades, hydration belt, ipod) then proceed to the starting line to run the race without warm up and stretching. Did my warm up run on the first KM then I was able to run at my race pace.
I didn't achieve my target time but was able to improve my Condura time by 1 min so its a new PR. My time according to my watch is 1:08.55 but my official time will be around 1:20 because of my late start. I don't know how the timing chip record my running time. Next in line is Run United hope to achieve my target of sub 1:05. But with new work schedule I still have to fix my training schedule of either running early in the morning or after work on the gym or in ULTRA. Then long runs during Saturdays.

No photos for now i just hope that photo vendo have captured a picture of me during the race. Will just wait and see.

Century Tuna Super bods run

My race bib and timing chip, My hydration/race belt, my running cap and shades.

All is set for my 3rd race of the year. I'm of course aiming to improve my 10K time. Target time for the race is 1:05 it means I have to run an average pace of 6:30 minutes per kilometer which I think i doable. I'm toying the idea of wearing my tri jersey and my tri shorts. I'll be running with a new hydration cum race belt not the traditional hydration belt you see on runners. Running 10K is becoming a comfort zone for me. My friends are pushing me to raise the bar and go for Half marathon. Its part of my plan but it will be in the middle of the year.

To all 10,000 runners good luck to all of us. May we crossed the finish line injury free.

Condura Run

Everything is set for the Condura Run 2010 "Run for the Dolphins". This will be my second race of the yer and my first Condura run which I'm looking forward based on the positive reviews I read of the previous condura races and all of my runner friends are joining this race. As for the preparation for this race I'm fully prepared as I'm consistently doing my workouts and training. I'll be gunning for a new PR not Sub 1 hour maybe between 1:05 - 1:10. I'll be running the 10K distance only too bad I'll not be able to run on the Skyway.
To all runners who are joining good luck To the runners running this race best of luck to all of us. We will be all running for a good cause. To all who are running on the Skyway don't forget your Toll money or your E pass LOL.
