Creating images from objects you usually overlook

After reading the blog of one of my Mentors in Photography Jo Avila. I challenged myself to produce an image without leaving the four corners of my room using objects or things that just in front of you and usually overlooked. What I came out is some screw driver bits randomly arrange it on my work table opened up the window beside it for some light and viola another image on my personal collection. What I learned from that article on his blog and from this exercise is that you have to create an image out of mundane objects if you just exercise your creativity. Will be doing more of this exercise and posting the pictures for the mean time I'm thinking of what will I produce next.
